Undertaking actions that fall under the practice of law. 3. Using the terms "notario" or "notario publico" for advertising notary services. 4. Overcharging for notary services. 5. Notarizing a document unless the signer is physically present during the notarization. 6. Providing identification cards. 7. Certifying copies of documents that are eligible for recording in public records (such as Driver's Licenses or Birth Certificates). 8. Notarizing a document without verifying the signer's current identification, unless I personally know the signer.
